What exactly does Venture CO Group do?
We’re a multidisciplinary group: business and financial consulting, grant writing, software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, IT infrastructure, graphic design, marketing, streaming and event services, plus our own SaaS products. The point isn’t the length of the list — it’s that you get all of it from one accountable partner. Instead of coordinating five vendors who blame each other, you work with one team that owns your outcome from strategy through delivery and beyond. That’s what we mean by full-scale thinking.
Who are your typical clients?
Founders, scale-ups, and established companies that are done with vendor juggling. Some come for a single sharp need — a funding application, a product build, a security overhaul — and stay because having one partner across disciplines compounds. Others arrive with a complex goal like a market entry or digital transformation that no single-specialty agency can carry. We work with clients from early-stage teams to international organizations, in Hungary and across our five markets. What they share: high standards and zero patience for excuses.
Are you an agency, a consultancy, or a software house?
Yes — and that’s deliberate. Traditional labels describe companies built around one discipline; we’re built around outcomes, which rarely respect discipline boundaries. A product launch needs strategy, engineering, design, and marketing at once. A market entry needs financial modeling, compliance awareness, and localized creative. Rather than being one link in your chain, we’re the chain. Call us whatever you like — what matters is that when something is our responsibility, it’s entirely our responsibility.
How long have you been around?
We were founded in Hungary in 2019 as a two-person grant-writing and event organization team. Since then we’ve added a new capability or market almost every year: consulting in 2020, IT and web in 2021, full software engineering and cybersecurity in 2022, the UK in 2023, our own SaaS products in 2024, Uzbekistan in 2025, and the US and Turkey in 2026. Every expansion came from client demand, not a pivot deck — which is why the group holds together as one coherent partner rather than a bundle of acquisitions.
How does a project start?
With a conversation, not a contract. You send an enquiry, and we schedule a call to understand what you actually need — which is sometimes different from what you initially ask for, and we’ll say so. From there we prepare a scoped proposal: objectives, deliverables, timeline, and a transparent quote. Once you approve, you get a dedicated point of contact and a kickoff with the full delivery team. Typical time from first call to kickoff is days, not months. Start here.
Can you really handle a project end to end?
Yes — it’s the reason the group exists. Because strategy, engineering, design, marketing, and operations all live under one roof, we can take a project from initial business case to launched, secured, and marketed product without a single handoff outside the group. You’re welcome to use us for one discipline only; plenty of clients do. But when a project spans several, you’ll feel the difference: no coordination tax, no lost context, no gaps between vendors where deadlines go to die.
What is your saleshouse (outsourced sales) service?
Our saleshouse service means we don’t just build your product or campaign — we sell for you. We act as your outsourced sales operation: building the pipeline, running outreach, qualifying leads, and closing or handing off deals under an agreed model. It’s ideal for companies entering a new market without a local sales team, or products that deserve better distribution than the founders have time for. Because we often build the product and the marketing too, our salespeople actually understand what they’re selling — a rarer advantage than it should be.
Do you offer SaaS products, or only services?
Both. Since 2024 we’ve been developing our own SaaS portfolio alongside client work — starting with SSO or cloud hosting, with further products added in 2025 and more in development. This matters for service clients too: a team that ships and operates its own products understands uptime, user retention, and product economics from the inside, not from a slide. See the current lineup on our Products page.
Who will actually work on my project?
The people you meet at kickoff — not a bait-and-switch senior partner who vanishes after the pitch. Every project gets a dedicated lead as your single point of contact, backed by specialists drawn from across the group as the work requires: engineers, designers, analysts, consultants. Because everyone is inside one organization, pulling in an extra discipline mid-project takes a conversation, not a procurement cycle. You’ll always know who is accountable, and it will always be us.
What are your typical price ranges?
We price by scope, not by rate-card theater. Every engagement starts with a clearly defined scope and a transparent, itemized quote — you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for and why before anything begins. Project size varies enormously across our disciplines, from focused consulting sprints to multi-year product builds, so a generic number would mislead you in one direction or the other. What we can promise: no hidden fees, no surprise invoices, and a quote built around your outcome rather than our billable hours. Send us your brief and you’ll get real numbers, fast.
Do you work on retainers or per project?
Both, and we’ll recommend whichever genuinely fits. Project-based engagements suit well-defined goals: a build, a launch, a funding round. Retainers suit ongoing needs — systems operation, security monitoring, marketing, continuous development — where you want capacity on tap and compounding context. Many clients start with a project and move to a retainer once the trust is there. Hybrid models exist too. The structure should serve the work; we’ll never push a retainer where a project makes sense, or vice versa.
What happens if the scope changes mid-project?
It usually does — pretending otherwise is how other vendors ambush clients with invoices. Our process assumes evolution: when scope shifts, we flag it immediately, quantify the impact on timeline and budget, and get your sign-off before proceeding. No silent scope creep, no retroactive charges. Because most disciplines you might suddenly need are already in-house, scope changes with us tend to be a quick amendment rather than a new procurement round with a new vendor.
Who owns the code and assets you produce?
You do. Upon full payment, the intellectual property we create for you — code, designs, documents, campaign assets — transfers to you, and that’s written plainly into our contracts, not buried in clause 47. We don’t hold client work hostage, we don’t lock you into proprietary black boxes, and we hand over clean documentation so another team could take over tomorrow if you wanted. We’d rather keep clients through performance than through captivity. Where third-party or open-source licenses apply, we map them out for you explicitly upfront.
How do you handle cybersecurity and data protection?
Security has been a core discipline of the group since 2022 — not an afterthought bolted onto development. Client projects follow security-by-design principles: hardened infrastructure, access control, encrypted data handling, and GDPR-compliant processes as standard, since we’re EU-based. We can also engage as your security partner directly: audits, hardening, monitoring, and incident response. Internally, we hold ourselves to the same standards we sell, because a security vendor that gets breached is a punchline we refuse to become.
Can you take over systems or code built by someone else?
Yes — rescue and takeover work is a steady part of our practice. We start with a structured audit of the codebase, infrastructure, and documentation (or the absence of it), give you an honest report on what you actually have, and recommend the cheapest responsible path: stabilize, refactor, or rebuild. Sometimes the honest answer is that the previous vendor’s work is fine and needs only maintenance — we’ll tell you that too. Then we take operational responsibility, and it stops being your 2 a.m. problem.
Do you work with clients outside Hungary?
Constantly. We entered the UK in 2023, Uzbekistan in 2025, and the US and Turkey in 2026 — and we serve clients beyond those markets remotely. Our teams work in English as a matter of course, contracts can be structured for international engagements, and our delivery model was built for distributed collaboration years before we crossed borders. Wherever you are, you get the same single-partner accountability. The only thing that changes with geography is the time zone of your kickoff call.
Can you help us enter a new market?
Yes — and unusually, we’ve done it for ourselves, five times. Market entry with us covers the full arc: opportunity analysis and financial modeling, local compliance and partnership groundwork, brand and marketing localization, and — through our saleshouse service — an actual sales operation on the ground. Most consultancies hand you a report and wish you luck; we can execute the plan we write. If your target is one of our active markets, you also inherit our local network and hard-won operational lessons.
How do you handle contracts, invoicing, and compliance across borders?
Cleanly. As an EU-based group with active operations in the UK, US, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, we’re used to structuring engagements across jurisdictions: contracts under an agreed governing law, invoicing in EUR, USD, GBP, or HUF as needed, and GDPR-grade data handling as our default everywhere — not just where it’s mandatory. Our financial consulting background means cross-border administration is a competency, not a headache we pass on to you. You focus on the work; the paperwork arrives correct, on time, and in your language.
